The findings of a study done at the University of Portsmouth’s School of Biological Sciences in the U.K. led by Dr. Alessandro Siani….were surprising. Three quarters of the VR headset owners surveyed said they used them for fitness and exercise and 37 percent make use of VR for meditation. About the study…Dr. Siani says..
“We recruited a total of 646 participants around many, many countries…I think it was over 40 countries. But the vast majority of participants were from the USA and the UK.”
Dr. Siani says participants actually reported an increase in vigorous exercise when using VR.
