Panasonic unveils two new Lumix micro four-thirds cameras

Techstination feature for Tuesday, June 8, 2021

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        Even though they have moved into full frame digital mirrorless cameras…Panasonic is continuing to innovate in the micro four thirds space.    It has announced the development of the Lumix GH6…due out late this year….and the GH5 Mark II.  Business Development Manager Matt Frazer is designed for live streaming, is equipped with two SD card slots…and is a big step up…

“You go from about 16 million colors on a GH5 in 4K 60p…to over a billion different color combinations in a GH5 Mark II.”

And about the advantages of the micro four thirds system, Frazer says..

“You get a small overall system because of the optics and you get better, more reliable video recording because of the reliability of the system as a whole.”

And the lenses for the system from Panasonic..Olympus and others…are a big plus too.
