Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. Using lower power 5G for tracking. That’s what a company called BeWhere is bringing to market with the BeMini. It’s small enough to be used to track pets..even people..or a wide range of other types of things featuring GPS location, an accelerometer and more. Senior VP Brian Boychuk says it may sell for about a hundred dollars including one year of service..
“And these devices have a USB rechargeable and they can have a battery life of roughly about 600 reports we’ll say. And so depending upon how frequently you report, if it’s once a day…if it’s ten times a day…if it’s every ten minutes..your battery life will match that. “
Sounds impressive. The BeMini should be available this summer. Find more at www.BeWhere.com.
