Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        A company called Boxabl….has created a way to build foldable houses….that can be much more easily shipped and placed onto foundations in as little a day…with prices starting at about fifty thousand dollars.   Founder Galiano Tiramani calls it mass production of affordable housing…and multiple units can be put together for larger dwellings…

“The unit folds up…however…not all of it folds.   There is still kind of fixed portion and in that fixed portion is where we finish stuff.  So in this first model we’re doing, it’s going to be kitchen, bathroom.”
