Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. A functional smart watch…with fitness, heart rate, sleep tracking and more doesn’t have to be expensive. The TranyaGo sells on Amazon for under forty dollars and features a bright color touch screen, IP 68 waterproofing and notifications as well. It is quite a bit for the money. And it can go about a week on a charge. Where it could use some work is in the user interface of the accompanying app. For a similar price, the Wyze Watch has a better build…aluminum instead of plastic…and a better app. It also has sensors for blood oxygen levels as well in addition to menstrual tracking capability. Both devices are great examples of how inexpensive some of the latest wearable technology can be. And should a watch at that price be lost or broken.. well, it isn’t that big of a deal.
