Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    The world’s oldest living dog,  Olivia Rodrigo and of course the NBA playoffs were among the top search trends on Google during the month of April.  The chihuahua named TobyKeith at age 21 broke the Guiness World Record.    Google’s Molly VandenBerg says that prompted many people to search for oldest cats as well.  Also showing up in the search Trends…people trying to cheat..more or less…on Wordle..

“People love Wordle and they’re playing every day.  And we’re really seeing that reflected in the search trends.   There was a study that came out that showed that Google search data is indicating that people are looking up a lot of Wordle answers.”

Shame on them.  Wait, maybe Shame is today’s word.   Another Google trend on tax deadline day…a lot of people looking for information on tax deadline extensions.
