Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        Capturing the attention and imagination of kids…without having a screen involved…isn’t always so easy.   Stephanie Warren Drimmer has succeeded, though, time and again, with a series of books for National Geographic Kids.   The latest is titled…Ultimate Book of the Future… Incredible, Ingenious and Totally Real Tech That Will Change Life as You Know It.   She goes into flying cars and life on Mars, robots and more and has fun talking about some visions of the future that have failed…

“I think pretty much everything from the Jetsons that we thought we might have we don’t.   Rosey the Robot is maybe my favorite example.”

But stay tuned for flying and autonomous cars.  Kids will enjoy and some of us older kids too.   The title again is Ultimate Book of the Future.
