“Anywhere you are in your house within range of an Alexa device you could say..hey Alexa, I need help…and it will summon OnStar and OnStar services will kick in.   An OnStar advisor will come over the audio and be able to give you the help that you need.”

They are also bringing the app to motorcyclists.   OnStar Guard is priced at 14.99 a month…including crash response in any vehicle…and it can be shared with up to 7 friends or family members.
