“You probably may not think of your small business as instantly part of your neighborhood but that’s probably where you are going after your little league game.  They’re probably the ones that have their brand on your little league jerseys.  So you really have to combine all the real people and the businesses as well as a lot of the public services that are provided to you in each neighborhood.”

The idea is to create neighborhoods reminiscent of the ones that existed long before apps and Web sites.   Nextdoor continues to grow and is now in eleven countries.
