“Active Glide is our hands free driving system. It is available on divided, limited access roads that we have pre-authorized throughout the country. We’re over 130 thousand miles of available roads. When users are in those sections of road, the system will alert them to the fact that you can take your hands off the wheel. You do need to maintain eyes on the road.”
A driver state monitoring camera makes sure attention is being paid…and Active Glide will disengage if it determines that isn’t the case. The 2023 Lincoln Corsair is due to arrive early next year.
