In our time with the Ford F-150 Lightning…I had a chance to dive into what Ford calls BlueCruise…it’s advanced driver assistance system. And I came away impressed at what it can do now….and the promise of what it will bring tomorrow. BlueCruise allows you to drive hands free on prequalified sections of divided highways…and the map is pretty extensive already. What should you know? It is good…often very good…at taking over full control…and telling you when to put your hands back on the wheel. And it uses cameras to keep an eye on you to make sure you keep your eyes on the road. What I like is that BlueCruise does not disengage if you decide to change lanes, slow down or speed up. And we look for it to only get better with time, making the driving experience better and safer.
