An app under development to spur love of reading among middle schoolers

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. An app being developed by Kate Clairmont and a team at Princeton University’s Keller Center is aimed at generating enthusiasm among young people for reading. Clairmont says aiming at roughly middle schoolers…the app, Readwell, will serve as an e-reading platform…with curated content… “Ideally what we’re hoping for with the Readwell app as we continue to work on it is that it’s going to have fifty percent children’s classics and the best of the classics that are kind of curated for our audience as well as fifty percent new proprietary original material. So I’ve been also working with creative writers to create original, new pieces of content as well.” There’s a lot to look forward to.
