Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     Microsoft is seizing an opportunity …through an alliance with OpenAI…to become a leader in search…incorporating ChatGPT into its Bing search engine.   That will allow more relevant and even conversational search results.  In the words of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella..

“It’s a new day in search.  It’s a new paradigm for search.  Rapid innovation is going to come.  In fact a race starts today.”

And search leader Google is responding…with an announcement of its own AI search tool…called Bard.    Both the new Bing and Bard are available for the time being to limited testers.     But stay tuned…after years and years of the same user interface for search…things are getting interesting.
