Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. A throwback…maybe for Father’s Day. Schylling is out with a new line of Lava Lamps, that can transport perhaps a grandpa back to the 60s or 70s. It was invented sixty years ago by British accountant Edward Craven Walker…and the latest designs remain true to the history…still using an incandescent bulb as a heat source keep the waxy blob moving. Schylling VP of of product design Bryan Katzel..
“Our Flowback or throwback series for the seventies contains three lamps. The Disco Fever, the Groovy Gradient, the last one is the Vinyl Record.”
