Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      Have you ever sat in your car and thought to yourself, why is this control here…instead of over there.   Or maybe there’s a feature in your car that you really like.   Well, beginning with more than 300 thousand vehicles getting over the air updates, Ford is providing drivers with a direct pipeline to its engineers.   The feature is called Record Feedback.   Power Unit Quality Supervisor Jason Griffin..says it works with the touch screen display…

“ What is really is nice is when you press the button, a voice prompt will come over and it will say tell us any likes, dislikes or other experiences that you’re having with your vehicle.”

Your comments get recorded…and when you hit send…they are routed to the engineering department at Ford along with any relevant data in the car’s computer.    Sounds pretty smart and a good move when it comes to customer care.
