Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.   Ford took advantage of the New York Auto Show this month to unveil the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Expedition.   And this past year was the best year ever for the vehicle.  And so what is new in the Anniversary Edition coming this year?   Brand Manager Stephanie Simon says some of the new tech is under a category Ford calls Linger Longer..

“It’s things that are going to help them enjoy the vehicle and enjoy time together.  And that linger longer content is things like available 360 degree zone lighting that helps you illuminate your campsite or your tailgate.  The split tailgate that has a 500 pound capacity is perfect to watch a game or gather around as you prepare for your next adventure.  It has an extra long center aisle that’s made possible by our 40-20-40 folding seat.”

That roominess is what has made the Expedition popular still after all these years.
