Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.   Getting medical care where it is needed most with some help from AI.    SRI International, a non-profit research institute based in Princeton, New Jersey is advancing a platform called PARADIGM that opens new doors for rural healthcare.  It uses AI to allow general healthcare workers to perform clinical procedures…providing needed guidance and reducing training requirements.    Program Director Jason Tyan…

“This program, basically our idea, was trying to develop this system, including a mobile vehicle and this mobile vehicle could carry different kinds of medical devices.”

The AI guided tools can be used by a single healthcare worker…and deliver hospital level care…where it didn’t exist before.    Learn more at SRI.com.
