Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.   The folks at GoPro have branched out into new directions.      While we have seen many  TV and film productions over the years make use of the action cameras that the company has pioneered…the new Mission 1 Pro ILS opens doors to serious filmmakers and professionals…allowing the use of interchangeable micro-four thirds lenses.   There are no electronic lens contacts….make control fully manual.   GoPro’s Chris Prado says...

“This is ultimately a cinema camera.  It’s a really, really small one.  It’s a really, really affordable one.  But it ultimately is a cinema camera so the manual focusing and the manual aperture control comes along with it.  The beauty of the micro four thirds ecosystem is it is so vast.”
