"I would not be put off by the so called low pixel or two megapixel cameras. If you're going to be photographing and never producing anything bigger than an eight by ten, anything from two to four megapixels will certainly satisfy your needs. If you're only going to typical snapshot size, a 2.1 megapixel camera will produce them no problem at all. However, the more expensive cameras will give you more features, faster action and expand the range of possible conditions under which you can take a photograph."
