"The latest is power line networking which works at 14 megabits per second. It allows you to connect your PCs through your power outlets and you can also use the power line cable DSL router for example to share out your broadband connection with all of your networked PCs.

The numerous power outlets throughout your home are the chief advantages along with the speed. Home phone line networks... which use existing phone wiring... are about thirty percent slower... as are most wireless networks today. The chief drawback is the pricing of the power line networking equipment... about 150 dollars per PC. The good news is Linksys allows you to mix different kinds of networks together... .
