"We're doing our first ever movie survey. And I think anybody would find participating to be great fun if they love the movies. We're surveying 18 hundred major movies and they can see them by all different kinds of categories in deciding which ones to vote on. And anybody who votes before March 15th will get a free copy of the Zagat Guide to Movies when it comes out this fall."
There is no shortage of sites online where movie goers can rate their favorites as new films come out every week. Zagat says the new guide will have a different focus...
"We're not trying to get the movies being released today. What we're trying to do is provide people with a guide they can use when they want to rent a DVD or see a movie on television or at the point we can start downloading them, can decide which movies they want to see by any variety of categories. They'll be able to have all the different choices that you get in most of the Zagat surveys that you're most accustomed to seeing for restaurants or nightlife or hotels."
